# What Yuri can read

> Yuri reads Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit, TikTok, Pinterest, and any other https page. He takes links only. YouTube and generic pages store metadata, not the video file.

Yuri follows an `https://` link. He does not take uploaded files.

| ------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------ |
| [Instagram](/sources/instagram) | Image, video, or carousel |

## Which sites stay as metadata?

| Site | What he keeps |
| --------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------- |
| [YouTube](/sources/youtube) | Title and description. He does not download the video |
| [Any other website](/sources/web) | Title and description. He does not download the page as a file |

A save with no stored media gets a shorter action menu: no Transcript and no Download.

## What does he refuse?

Text that is not an `https://` URL. A Telegram photo or file. Those paths are off.
