# Save Instagram posts and reels

> Forward or click-save an Instagram /p/, /reel/, or /tv/ link. Yuri keeps the image, video, or carousel. He retries a reel as a post when Instagram 404s.

Send Yuri an Instagram post or reel. He keeps the image, the video, or every slide in a carousel.

## Which Instagram URLs work?

* `instagram.com/p/...` posts
* `instagram.com/reel/...` and `instagram.com/reels/...` reels
* `instagram.com/tv/...` IGTV

A share link without a shortcode still works. Yuri treats it as a post.

## What does he file?

An image, a video, or a carousel. For a carousel he keeps each child slide, not a duplicate of the cover.

## Why did a public reel fail?

Instagram sometimes 404s a public clip on the reels form. Yuri retries the same shortcode as `/p/CODE`. If both forms fail, use **Try Again**.

## How do I send it?

Forward the post on Telegram, paste the URL, or click the Yuri chip on the Instagram post in Chrome.
